Do you have a makeup emergency? Have you run out of moisturizer, or your lipstick smeared right before your big date? Has a blemish turned up at the most inopportune moment, or you didn’t have time to get to the tanning salon? Don’t panic or make a mad dash to the all night drug store. Many items in your everyday beauty routine, including your foundation, can serve more than one purpose, and will solve your dilemma quickly.
Correct Cover Cream Foundation – Flawless Finish

Cremeblend SPF 18 Foundation

Stick Foundation With SPF 18 Sun Protection

| Your cream foundation can double as a concealer. With a cotton swab, gather a little of the foundation from the cap of your bottle. The foundation in the cap has less moisture, and is a slightly darker shade, making it a perfect concealer. Dab the cotton swab on a blemish or on dark under eye shadows, and blend carefully. Then apply your foundation and powder as usual.
Another use of your foundation is as a moisturizer. When you are in a rush or out of moisturizer, simply use a small amount of extra moisturizing crème foundation. While there is typically not enough moisturizer in these foundations for everyday moisturizing, there is plenty for that occasional emergency. A third use for your cream foundation is as an instant temporary tan. Carefully apply a layer of foundation to your legs and arms for that instantly tanned look, without spending a small fortune and a lot of time at your local salon. Just make sure to wash it off after you get home to prevent blemishes. Some liquid foundations have an SPF rating of at least 15 or more. Substitute your foundation as a sunscreen after carefully checking the SPF rating for a short exposure to the sun. For working in your garden for a few minutes, or a quick trip to the department store, your foundation should provide plenty of protection. One more fantastic use for your foundation is for that instant lipstick fix. Instead of completely removing and reapplying your make up between the end of the work day, and that late night dinner you have been looking forward to, simply apply foundation to any lipstick smears or bleeding with a brush for an instant refresher. Your foundation can solve several beauty emergencies quickly and easily. Whether you need an instant concealer, tan, moisturizer, sunscreen, or lipstick repair, your foundation is readily available and more than capable of handling the job. |

Bronzers and blushes are a fantastic way to light up a woman’s face and highlight both her eyes and her cheekbones. Used properly, they can add depth, definition, and a little extra sparkle in your eyes. Depending on the color used, and the placement of that color, a woman can make or break an otherwise fantastic look.

Many women use bronzers on their cheeks and faces to add a touch of that sun kissed look without risking sun damage to their skin. Others will use bronzers on shoulders and collar bones as well. Using a large brush made with natural hair will provide even coverage. Placing your bronzer only on places the sun naturally hits your skin makes for a perfect sun kissed look. Using too much bronzer or placing it all over your face, even in the natural shadow will create an unnatural brown look. Using a touch of bronzer on other parts of your body, like shoulders, collar bones, and neck adds to the natural sun kissed look.
Blushes can add depth and definition to your face as well. Generally, using a large natural hair brush is the best option for blushes. Most women simply smile in the mirror to find the apple of the cheek, then carefully and place blush from the apple to the temple. This is a great way to highlight cheekbones if using a lighter shade of blush. To make the face appear thinner, consider using a slightly darker shade of blush placed directly under and following the cheekbone to the edge of your face. Blend carefully to avoid an unnatural look. Another technique common in applying blush is to start at the temple and work toward the apple of the cheek. This technique avoids the common mistake of having too much blush at the apple and not enough along the cheekbone. However, the risk of this technique is having too much color at the temple and not enough at the apple of the cheek.
Whichever technique of applying blush or bronzer you choose to use, make sure to take a step back from the mirror and look at your face. Does the color look natural, or does it look uneven, too dark, or too light.
Whether you choose bronzer, or blush creating a natural glow that helps to highlight your best features is the ultimate goal. Bronzers create a natural healthy sun kissed look when applied carefully, while blushes add color and create depth and definition to your face. Either one is a great option to consider for your next gathering.
